The factory has worked hard in continuing with the successful 'full-on' replica model since 2003.
This year the specification is indeed impressive with the addiction of the new REIGER rear shock and the new rear linkage system. The factory riders Adam Raga, Dougie Lampkin, Michael Brown and Loris Gubian are already riding with this new impressive rear suspension. The help of Dougie Lampkin has already been noticeable with the development of the new Raga Replica where Doug has been working close with this new suspension supplier. Doug explained that the Reiger factory together with the R+D team at GG needed to develop a rear shock and linkage system to suit a wider choice of rider abilities, weights and also different terrains and rider techniques. As you imagine the young top riders are all quite small and don't ride the no-stop way but when 'Legend Lampkin' can do both you can appreciate his input to a modern Trials bike.
Reading from the specification list below you can see that the factory has fully loaded the RAGA replica this year with some pretty cool extras. The Reiger shock is the main difference but as you read the list you will see that the quality components from S3 and Renthal etc are all standard on the Raga.

The usual gold Magnesium parts are fitted again together with an all new colour and graphic scheme. The gold frame has gone which worked well for a limited edition but I have to admit the new 2011 bike looks more 'factory' this year and really does stand out from the standard Pro range. Gas Gas now has that brand identity sorted for the standard models with the beautiful red frame but they really wanted to do something different for the limited RAGA model. The black frame works well in this case together with the gold magnesium crankcases/clutch case. Add the stunning forks and the attention to detail with the red anodized chain adjusters you really have a very special Trials bike!
